Kaaku’s blog » Blog Archive » Just do it.

Just do it.

I am going to stop being the laziest gril in Oslo and do this.

Start my blog.

Although I presume that it would be quite dorky to start my first blog about Eurovision so maybe I should wait till something exciting happens.

Or not. Because when exciting things happen, this blog will be the last thing on my mind so I should just do it now.

On a lazy hazy Sunday afternoon with nothing on TV.

Or maybe wait for something exciting.

Or not?

Or not wait and just do it.

Or..I’ve been here before. ..haven’t I? ;)

This by the way is Gerdur

Gerdur!

Last night I went to Gerdur’s place to watch various European countries sing and dance in the Eurovision Song contest which apparantly has been running since 1956 ( Our host was sweet enough to hold a quiz so we learnt a few facts!) The contest was great to watch, not so much for the music except Ukraine, Serbia, Greece and UK but for the rest. Hanging out with friends from work …away from work.

And for the cupcakes.

It was just so funny to see how each country voted for their nearest neighbour! Not being from Europe, I can just imagine if a similar competetion was held where I come from! Hmmm.. which neighbour can India vote for? ;)

(voice inside my head: Apparently an Italian woman from Tuscany? )

(ps: I get easily side tracked. More later. )

Anyways, so we held this little competetion on who would win Eurovision 2004 and I got the top three countries right! But I lost to Daniel and it is all Sweden’s fault.

Sweden from the research I have done, always wears white in songs. Except for this one time when ofcourse it wears pink. Teaches me not to predict swedish dress code.

Or make bets with Daniel. Grrrrr..
